Nayantara not in ‘Raavana’

Anyone in the south Indian industry could have evaded from all other call sheets problems of other movies, to be in a Mani Ratnam movie. But Nayantara is not like that. She deferred from being in the regular filmimass by refusing, to be on the new Mani Ratnam movie ‘Raavana’. It is learned that Nayantara couldn't approve the offer of acting as mandodhari opposite Vikram in the movie, an idea initiated by Suhasini Mani Ratnam, due to her date problems.

Nayantara realises that she has thus missed a big opportunity to be with the master, but also finds that the schedule of ‘Raavana’ is not so flexible to accommodate her.

An actress, who is maintaining her thick and busy schedules running around all languages in South India, is currently shooting for ‘Aadhavan’, the new Suriya starer. After the movie she will be seen in the Telugu flick with Balakrishna titled ‘Dhanraj’, after which she will complete her portions in the Malayalam movie ‘Bodyguard’.
