Siddique may remake Bodyguard in Tamil

Director Siddique, who had earlier directed Ilayathalapathy Vijay in Friends, may soon team up with the actor again. The director reportedly met Vijay recently and expressed his interest to work with him. Director Siddique is planning to remake Bodyguard (Malayalam)in Tamil with Vijay in the lead.

Vijay was reportedly excited on hearing the script, but does not have enough dates to allocate at the moment. Vijay's Vettaikaran is about to be completed and he will soon start working on his 50th film, which will be released in 2010.

Director Siddique is currently filming the Malayalam version of Bodyguard with Nayantara and Dileep in lead roles.
