Nayanthara refused Fashion

Talented actress Nayanthara rejected and offer from telugu movie, in which she was supposed to play the role of a sex-worker and apparently it turned to be cup of coffee for Trisha. Now we hear that one of the leading corporate company in Bollywood wanted Nayanthara to perform lead role in ‘Fashion’ that was performed by Priyanka Chopra in original version while Priyamani in the role of Kangana Ranaut. Talks are going with Trisha and the official confirmations will be shortly as Nayanthara has refused to do the role.

Nayantara going to stop acting

South indian hot actress Nayantara who is playing a devotional role of Sita in Bapu's Sriramarajyam announced that she will not act in movies after this film. Sources close to the actress say that her boyfriend actor Prabhu Deva asked Nayantara not to act in movies anymore after this film and hence she took the decision.

She also rubbished rumours that her relationship with Prabhu Deva came to an end. She clarified that things are absolutely fine between her and Prabhu Deva.

"Tamil actor Vijay asked me to play a role in Tamil version of 'Bodyguard'. But I refused because I am not going to act anymore. 'Sri Ramarajyam' is a movie I am proud of. I feel blessed to play the role of Sita who is the epitome of Indian woman. Besides, acting in Bapu's film and sharing screenspace with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Balaiah is memorable. I am glad I am bidding farewell to film industry with Sita's role which has huge scope for acting" Nayantara said.

Nayantara in 'Mathilukal' sequel

Nayantara who is passing through a lean phase in her career, will be back in Mollywood with a couple of big projects. She has already completed the hyped ‘Electra’ with director Shyamaprasad in which she plays the important role. The movie also features Prakash Raj and Manisha Koirala as her parents.

The other important new project to come her way is ‘Mathilukalkkappruam' which is a sequel to Adoor Gopalakrishnan's celebrated film 'Mathilukal'. It will be directed by debutante Prasad. Prasad will continue with Basheer’s story from where Adoor left.

Nayantara will be in the role of Narayani, the unseen woman prisoner on the other side of the prison wall in the original. Mammootty will once again come up as Basheer. The movie is expected to give some of the best moments of the lead actors in Malayalam cinema.

Earlier, Vidya Balan was said to be debuting in Malayalam with this film. Now it seems Nayantara has replaced her. Ravi K Chandran will be the cameraman and sound directions will be by Oscar winning Resul Pookutty. Mammootty’s production company Playhouse is producing this film.

Nayantara faints while shooting

Nayantara apparently fainted on the sets yesterday while shooting for ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ that has ‘Arya in the lead!

Sources say that Nayantara was empty stomach and didn’t have her food for the day, making her faint while the shooting was going on! The worried unit members rushed her to the hospital only to find out that she was weak. The doctors have advised her rest and regular food intakes.

The shooting was taking place in a leading studio in Chennai.
